"Professionalism"

About: Royal Bournemouth General Hospital / Cardiology

I came into the cardiac intervention unit and ward 23 on Wednesday 2nd May.

I was very impressed with how proffesional, knowlegable and happy all the staff were.

I came in for a cryoablation and was very nervous, but the staff helped to distract me.

To be honest I found the procedure uncomfortable but the team in the lab did their best to aleviate this.

Please if possible pass on my thanks to all the staff including the team in the catheter lab

Dear Sue Akerman

Thank you for sharing your experience and sorry to hear you found the procedure uncomfortable but despite that fact you still managed to appreciate the care and professionalism of the staff looking after you.

It is nice to hear you found the staff happy in their work and able to distract you during the procedure and I would be happy to pass on your thanks to the team who looked after you.

We hope you are now starting to feel the benefits of having the procedure and improved quality of life.

Regards

Patient Engagement Team
