I was under the care of a cpn at three towns resource centre saltcoats. I received a letter in November last year (2017) telling me I had 14 days to call and arrange and appointment. So I called the day I got the letter and two more times after this within the 14 days, well within the 14 days. I have had this confirmed by the manager of the three towns resource centre when she called to sort this after me complaining to north ayrshire council. I was assured (jan) that this would be sorted and I would have a new cpn.
It's now May 2018 and after numerous times of me calling and asking for this to be sorted I still am no further forward. My psychiatrist even said I didn't want another cpn which is untrue and shows how little this Dr has listened to me. I have never had an hour appointment with my psychiatrist, it's in and out again.
I have had hardly any support with the situation I am trying to deal with. I was told just to come off my antidepressants with no replacement mentioned.
I cannot reach my psychiatrist or their secretary most of the time when I do call to try sort things. Basically I am very suicidal and have said many times and still nothing is being sorted for my care. I had to make a complaint about the way I was spoken too by a member of staff at the three towns resource centre who was very aggressive and unprofessional. I am being let down by this mental health team. I feel I have been dealt within a flippant way and you need to fight to remain under a dr or cpns care.
