About: Pasley Road Health Centre (G Singh)

I have just been to the surgery in regards to a very painful back strain. I had previously rang 111 and they advised me to see my GP. I made an appointment, actually got in quickly for once, to be asked if I could "just go on the sick".. to which I said no as I cannot afford to. I was then asked if I actually needed to work. I was then told to just take ibuprofen and wait a few weeks - bear in mind I am in agony. So I asked if there were any exercises I could do to ease the pain and was told to just Youtube it. I am absolutely appalled. This practice hasn't been up to standard for a long long time, but I have never felt as let down by the NHS as I have today. I will be now looking to change practice.
