Follow up care post surgery

About: St John's Hospital / General Surgery

(as the patient),

Had carpel tunnel surgery at St John's lasts year.

Was told would get callback for a follow up appointment 6 months post surgery.

Never heard a thing.

Now having bother with my hands again.

Having to go back to the GP and request for a referral back to Hooper Hand Clinic.

Frustrating and in pain.

Thank you for your feedback and I am sorry to hear that you are having bother and pain with your hands following your carpel tunnel surgery last year. I am also sorry to hear that you didn't get a follow-up appointment after your surgery.

Well I didn't expect a response let alone a helpful and kind response. I will definitely let others know about this site- I'm feeling hopeful I might get some assistance to sort out this pain.
