"institutionalised indifference"

About: Munro Medical Centre

I have noticed that Doctors etc seemed to have lost the ability to listen and they seem to be only able to deal with one symptom at a time and not the holistic picture although if reading patients notes they would have realised this.

I am also concerned that the CCG are rationing care(cheaper alternative prescriptions) and this is drilling down to surgeries and hospitals.

10 years ago I would have expected as a pensioner to be given proper treatment but I have now experienced with my present treatment it takes some months between visits and then given not a comprehensive treatment.

As an active person(or try to be) each symptom that takes ages to be dealt with put stress on my quality of life but who argues with a Doctor or Nurse??????

Thank you for leaving your comment. We’re sorry to hear that you're not completely satisfied with your recent care. If you are concerned, you're welcome to contact us directly and will see what can be done to help. If you are concerned about the CCG's over-the-counter medicines policy your welcome to give feedback directly to the CCG. They are simply trying to ensure that money remains available to treat significant problems such as cancer and to allow operations to continue to take place.
