"Breast Cancer - Amazing Health Care Staff on every level"

About: Burnley General Hospital East Lancashire Hospice Royal Blackburn Hospital / Pain Management The Cornerstone Practice

(as the patient),

Hi, I am a patient with Breast Cancer (diagnosed 2.5years ago), unfortunately now metastasised and terminal.

I'd just like to say that of the many medical staff, from my amazing Oncologist, lovely Breast Cancer nurse, my District Nurse who is always there and very thorough in her care. Not to mention the many wonderful Nurses, Radiologists, Specialists, Surgeons, Hospice staff, G.P.s and Administrative staff who've all been so kind, supportive and work tirelessly and diligently to provide the high standard of care I believe I've received - I've honestly never experienced any shortcomings in either Staff or care!
I feel very lucky to live in Lancashire and to benefit from their knowledge, understanding and desire to help and alleviate this condition in anyway they can.
As a patient I have so many memories of how representatives of each of these professions has made a huge impact or difference to my diagnosis, my state of mind, my pain relief and my happiness.  Generally there should be more appreciation for all those who work tirelessly.

Many thanks for your feedback on your experience of the breast cancer and district nursing services following breast cancer diagnosis, and thank-you for taking the time to do so.

It is lovely to receive such positive feedback regarding the care, treatment and service you have received during the last 2.5 years and we are delighted to pass this on to the staff who will very much appreciate your comments as they always strive to deliver safe, personal & effective care.
