"Nursing care"

About: University Hospital Wishaw

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I have been an inpatient in ward 9 at UHW since the middle of March. I have been quite unwell. The nursing staff are amazing. The help me with all aspects of my care while trying to encourage me to help myself. They are very kind to my husband and allow him to come and visit when ever he likes. The ward sister is Sharon and she comes to say hello every shift she is on duty. The staff even help me with the small things like topping up my phone. The ward is clean and tidy.

I have only on thing on my mind to say about the food. I really look forward to my soup at lunch time but the taste has changed. It is too spicy now and I do not enjoy it.

Thank you for your comments in relation to the cleanliness of the ward.

I am sorry to hear that you are now finding the soup to spicy. I will pass your comments onto our catering department.
