"Couldn’t thank ward 40 enough"

About: The Royal Victoria Infirmary / Gynaecology

I would like to say a big thank you to to the healthcare’s, nurses, doctors and the anathesthetist who looked after me on ward 40 on 17/04/2018

I came to ward for Fenton’s procedure under general anathethetic. I was absolutely petrified and all the staff really did make all of that go away and helped me feel at ease. Not only this but my consultant went above and beyond by reassuring me that I was getting the best possible treatment available.

After my surgery I was very sore and sick and everyone looking after me cared for me brilliantly and waited until I was better before sending me home.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback regarding your care at Newcastle Hospitals. We have forwarded to the directorate concerned, who will share with the staff involved. We are sure they will appreciate your praise and we hope to continue to provide the same level of care to our patients.
