"Speedy and efficient team in A&E"

I recently lodged a complaint against the Clinical Assessment Unit based on my experience whilst visiting what I concluded to be a poorly performing and disorganised Dept.

As a result of the same medical condition however I had to attend the A & E Dept today and it is important that I publish my thanks & appreciation for the staff's performance today (credit where credit is due).

I was attended to quickly by a friendly Staff Nurse, examined by a very professional doctor who explained her examination clearly, detailed the tests to be carried out, the reasons why, and advised possible outcomes. She also gave an indication of the time that would be involved and any possible further treatment.

During my period waiting for results I was kept up to date on progress and checked on regularly by the Nursing staff who I considered to be working efficiently and calmly. Even the way they empathically dealt with an elderly patient who was stressed by the ordeal was excellent. Well done all!

I have always held FVH in high regard and today's experience has confirmed such.

I would therefor be grateful if you would forward this message to the team that were on duty as thanks and appreciation for their sterling efforts.
