Of course, the 'postcode lottery' that is education and health is wrong, but I'm mighty lucky to live in the postcode area served by the Amwell Street Group Practice. It is a beautiful, well-designed building that is fit for purpose. The reception staff are efficient and kind; the nurses professional and excellent and; One GP has been my doctor for 25 years. The first time I ever saw my GP was when I went to register at the surgery, I remember leaving his consulting room and saying to myself "you'll do for me".

In a life when I have made so many bad decisions, becoming a patient of my GP at the Amwell Street Group Practice is not one of them.
