I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in Nov 2016 and have been under the care of the oncologist who has been wonderful and a surgeon who gives you time to process, ask questions and calm fears. I have undergone chemotherapy, radiotherapy, two surgeries and am now having three weekly injections at the breast care centre and take daily tablets. I cannot fault the care I have received. Staff have been amazing throughout, are caring and able to empathise. I am coming to the end of my journey now and my prognosis is very positive. I owe everything to the excellent care I have received even though at times they have been extremely busy and understaffed but still found the time to sit and chat with me and make me feel valued. I would tell anyone who finds themselves in my position to trust in the staff and they will do everything possible to make you well again.
