I have been coming to pain management for a number of years for epidural and lumbar facet joint injections. I have just been told that my epidural will be cut to twice a year and I can no longer have facet joint injections due to the cutbacks decided by the care quality commissioners. I had my last facet joint injection 2nd march 2018 and have to wait 6mnths for my next epidural which I was getting 3x a year how can someone just decide to do this when they are not qualified enough to do this I am so angry and upset about this as I am dreading what my future will be i would urge everyone to get in touch with their MP and the commissioners for a explanation why no one was told about this and we still have not received any letter just told by pain management receptionist when i rang to book my 3 appointments for this year that i have to request a ticket from a manager for treatment and wait to hear which is totally unfair on the receptionists i am not a number i am a person in chronic pain so i urge everyone please get in touch with MP etc plus i am dreading the effects when it wears of and i can not get my treatment as far as I'm concerned the doctors do a great job in helping me if i didn't have injections and have had many over the last 10 years plus i wouldn't be having them if they didn't help these people want to speak to the patients hope they not in same situation one day
