"Surreal queuing in Costa Coffee whilst..."

What could be improved

My husband was brought in by ambulance to A&E. I followed by car. I had 2 £5 notes but no change. I was sent to the main entrance ot get change. The main entrance does not give change. The main entrance sent me to Costa Coffee, where I had to queue and buy something I didn;t want to get some change. i asked for some change with the second £5 note but the shop would not as they didn't want to give me their change. So I was able to buy 2 hours worth of parking with my change. 1 1/2hrs later I was back to Costa Coffee to queue again and buy soomething I didn't want to get more chnage.

All of this whilst my husband was in A&E with a suspected heart attack.

Surely there could be a debit card machine... or even a pass to place in the window of the car if you are in A&E.

You can't buy a day pass if you are in A&E so that is not an option.

So a very surreal time spent in Costa Coffee and the main entrance whilst my husband was in resus.

Luckily he didn't die whilst I was in Costa Coffee queuing for change...

Anything else?

Replace your change machine.

Get a debit card machine for parking tickets

Be able to pay via mobile phone.

A&E hand out tickets if you arrive in ambulance.
