I have had a very good learning experience at this placement. My mentor and all members of the Home Treatment team are so very helpful. They have put aside some of this time to enlighten me on the processes and how the team works. The team also made it possible for me to work with different members of staff such as clinical psychologists, CPNs and doctors.
They have facilitated for me to shadow some members of their team eg initial memory assessment process and doctor’s review. They also allowed me to do some outreach to attend the mindfulness meeting. This team strives to give clients the best person-centred care they can.
