"Green Light Prostatectomy"

About: Queen Margaret Hospital / Urology

(as the patient),

Having had a TURP 10 years ago, was very nervous about procedure, previous TURP had kept me in hospital for 5 days with a recovery time in months and a lot of bleeding. However I must say the laser worked extremely well for me, out the same day not much blood back in 4 days to have catheter taken out and released!

Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful, all questions answered and could not have not wished for better care. Mr Jaafari explained everything and I knew I was in very capable and professional hands. Allison on the nurse team was very helpful and indeed it was so nice to be in a hospital that staff were clearly happy in and had the time to care for people as people and even make jokes. I also got excellent direct feedback from Mr Janjua, who will be my follow up contact.
