"Much Effort to support me in a procedure I fear..."

Much effort has been made by the doctor to ensure minimal stress, and safe management of emotional and physical pain at every stage in gynaecology. Great example of holistic care. I have been terrified of this procedure after bad experiences at Torbay.

Having the intervention and advocacy from pain management. I feel every care has been taken by all the staff concerned.

And the role of ensuring the liaison of physical and psychological needs being met for the best outcome has given me trust where I didn’t have any.

I also appreciate the cooperation of all the staff at gynaecology..with this approach...who I met at my pre-op.

I am still scared But not too terrified to undergo the procedure and I feel supported in getting help for things during my stay at Torbay And or in getting social care support afterwards.
