My mother died on this ward in January 2018 unfortunately it was not a good experience. Without saying too much as I have made contact with Pals. Poor and inconsistent care!
Most staff (not all) showed an uncaring attitude towards patients and to us as relatives. The staff nor the Dr's took any time to sit down and have a conversation with us about my mother/her condition nor diagnosis.
I was unsure whether to leave this review then I felt so very strongly about it I felt I had to for the sake of other patients and relatives. It is still very raw as it is only 2 months since she sadly passed away. Change will only occur if reviews are left on this site and investigated. I feel the need to raise my concerns as I shudder when I hear ward 1 and think about my dear mum.
My review is genuine and totally unbiased.
