"Compassionate, encouraging and thoughtful"

About: Community mental health services / Community mental health teams

(as a student nurse),

Central Wandsworth West Battersea CMHT placement

I am a first-year student currently on community placement. My journey so far has been positive towards community mental health nurses. They are focused, attentive, passionate and caring towards the client’s needs.

I have been to home visit for depot injection with my mentor. I was happy to see my mentor seeking client consent to allow me to observe. He is very compassionate, encouraging and thoughtful.

Dear asteropews35

My name is Farai and I am the Engagement and Experience Co-ordinator for the Trust.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback for your experiences during your placement as a first year student. I am glad that you found the learning environment conducive to your studies and your observations of our nursing staff treatment of our service users is acknowledgement of the good work that is provided by the staff on a daily basis. It is very encouraging to receive such feedback.

I wish you all the best with the rest of your studies.

Kind regards

Farai
