(as the patient),

I was very anxious and nervous about my procedure.  However, I need not have been. From the 

admission to discharge the Ward Nursing and Medical staff put me completely at ease, despite complications in theatre.  It was a very positive  experience which left me totally at ease and feeling well cared for. Nothing was too much bother for any of the ward staff, including Domestics, OT’s, Physiotherapists, Nurses and Doctors.

You mention you were very anxious about your procedure- is there anything we could have done before your surgery to alleviate it?

Despite the complications during theatre I hope this finds you recovering well. I will gladly pass on feedback to all the staff who were involved in your care- I am sure they will be delighted to get such good feedback and wish you well.
