When we found the hospice my husband was very ill with a grade 4 brain tumour. Kilbryde provided day service classes for my husband and arranged carer and counselling services for me. We felt very much cared for and realised that we were not alone. Kilbryde Hospice is a fantastic place with wonderful staff and great volunteers. I can honestly believe that Kilbryde saved my husband's life and kept me sane. We still use the drop in services, some of the classes and the restaurant. We are so grateful to have found Kilbryde.

Dear Kilbryde user

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on the care and support that you and your husband have had from Kilbryde Hospice. Its important to hear that not only has your husband been supported with his illness through attendance at our Day Service but you as a carer have also been supported. I'm delighted that we have helped you to "stay sane". Your needs are important to be heard too and I'm delighted that you have benefited from some of our carer services.

I will be certain to feedback your post to our staff and volunteers as this will allow them to continue to support others in your situation.

I trust you and your husband will continue to visit the Hospice via the Kafe and the Drop In classes.

I hope that others in your situation will be reassured by your feedback and see that Kilbryde Hospice is able to support people and their families not just at end of life.
