"The ability to visit without restriction was appreciated"

As a close small family, the ability to visit without restriction, to have the regular family meals with Mum, including our Christmas meal, and spend time with her was greatly appreciated by all of us. Most importantly, however, the company of family is something I know Mum held most dear, so thank you for enabling us to continue with this despite her illness.

I have deliberately not named any one person nor written different letters to different staff groups as every element of the care provided to Mum by everyone within these teams is fully deserving of praise and our gratitude. I would be grateful if you could show this letter to any person or team that I may have mistakenly forgotten to include.

We have nominated St Luke's as the charity for Mum's remembrance and we are pleased it has raised an amount which I think fully reflects the love that all our friends and family had and will continue to have for her. It is with our gratitude that we are able to support St Luke's with this.
