"They consistently go over and above"

About: New Victoria Hospital / Elderly Medicine (Ward 1 and 2)

(as a parent/guardian),

My father has been in the elderly ward at The New Victoria Hospital Glasgow in Ward 2 since late last year and I couldn't be more grateful for the care given by all the staff.

He has had his leg amputated and has been very fragile both physically and mentally. The staff have helped build his confidence and sense of identity immeasurably and helped regain his happiness within himself.

I ultimately feel the communication and care which is person centred is excellent.

The staff in the ward have the best attitude, having witnessed not only the care given to my Father but with all the patients in the ward. They consistently go over and above and I'm very grateful to all of them for the love and care they've shown my Dad.

Dear Ali Bali 1

Many thanks for sharing your Father’ experience on Ward 2, New Victoria Hospital.

It was lovely to read your comments about the staff and how they have helped build your Father’s confidence and sense of identity.

I will make sure that we share you feedback with the Ward Staff.

Please pass on my best wishes to your Father.

Kind Regards

Nicole
