About: Hinchingbrooke Hospital

What I liked

I was in Birch Ward bay 2 and later bay 3 for 9 days following a total knee replacement on the 23 March. I found the staff to be extremely caring, attentive to patient comments, and where possible tried to make all the patients as comfortable as possible whatever time of day or night.

I would find it very difficult to find fault with the care and attention given.

The regular cleaner on the ward did a thorough job, and drew good comment from the other patients in the bay I was in. They always had a smile and chatted with us when we opened up conversation without neglecting their tasks.

The choice of food was good and was quite enjoyable, and on the whole was good.

What could be improved

From my position as a patient there was nothing I could say was in need of addressing. The staff, I feel are deserving of praise and reward for their devotion to their work. The NHS should be given much more funding directed at their levels to keep the high standards of professionalism we see as patients.

Anything else?

From comments from family and friends around england this hospital mustrate as one of the best for patient care.
