What I liked
consultants are very knowledgeable and you know your child is in capable hands
What could be improved
call centre staff and staff on recption at the heart unit are very rude with bad attitudes.
waiting times at the heart outpatients unit need to improve-when you are given a time it should mean you are seen at that time and not some hour and a half later,also when the letter states you will be seeing your childs consultant you expect to see that consultant and not his registrar.We have been comming here for 5 years and only seen our sons consultant a handful of times,the rest of the time it is different people so they don't know about you and vice versa.
wish we could leave this hospital but unfortunatly we have two sons with heart defects that aren't going to improve anytime soon so we are stuck here for the forseeable.
"wish we never had to come here."
