(as a service user),

Our experience here at Oldham Hospital has been great. I felt the nurses/midwives have been very hospitable, caring and supportive. As a person who has never experienced labour before, I felt content with their help, advice and support. 

They provided us with regular meals, even in the night they would put out sandwiches for us.

The only advice I would give is to possibly have the stay for partners/husbands more comfortable in terms of sleeping arrangements. Maybe they could have provided partners with a small mattress  or given a double bed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of our maternity service. It is always a pleasure to hear from women that have had a positive experience. This is important to us at The Royal Oldham because we always strive to provide compassionate care.
