"Staff do a wonderful job"

About: Nithbank Hospital / Community Rehabilitation

(as the patient),

I was met at reception by a friendly face who kindly showed me where to wait.  He then alerted the Community Nurse of my arrival.  It was my first meeting with this professional who immediately made herself known to me and her role in my care.  After a good discussion with her I met with the Physiotherapist who again was a new face.  She was very thorough and professional in her approach to my needs and arranged to organise a fitness programme on my behalf.  Next I was seen by the Occupational Therapist who guided me through a range of aids which would help maintain my independence.  I was given total respect from all three professionals and felt that they all cared about my needs.  I have never had any problems attending this Rehab Centre as the staff throughout do a wonderful job and are always professional and courteous.

Dear KittyAnne,

Thank you very much for taking the time to feed back on your experience at the Rehab Centre. I couldn’t agree more, it is always a very a welcoming place and glad that you were met with friendly and supportive people as it must be very daunting to come to a new place for rehabilitation.

As the associate director for allied health professionals I am delighted to hear that your experience of Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy has been so positive and will make certain that your feedback reaches the team. Meantime I hope you are making good progress with you rehab.

Best wishes

Joan

Dear KittyAnne

It will be reassuring to the team that despite you never having met some of them before, they were all able to engage with you on a positive level, and enable you to continue to attain your goals.

Rehabilitation is, as you know, a journey and depends on a working partnership between all members of the team and the patient. It's rewarding for all concerned to receive this feedback

Kind regards

Chris
