"Very pleased with the entire staff of the ENT..."

About: Guy's Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

I visited the ENT department at Guy's hospital in October 2017, as a lump suddenly appeared on my neck.

Throughout the process the doctor who saw me was very professional, by explaining very clearly what the issue could be due to and looking at all possible scenarios, yet he was very human as I found myself being quite emotional during some of the visits.

The lump ended up being an inflamed branchial cyst with no evidence of malignancy, so in the end I was quite lucky.

I'd like to highlight how throughout the process I was very well looked after by all members of the team and I felt like I was in the hands of a great professional, working with a great team of doctors. Everyone was very respectful.

The surgery itself had some risks, as many nerves run through that area of the neck, however this was quite successful as I had no damages to my nerves and I am now back feeling a lot better.

All in all I would like to thank him and the entire staff of the ENT department at Guy's hospital.
