"Attending X-ray 1 Dept for scan"

About: The Princess Royal Hospital (Telford)

I attended the scan dept on the 2nd Feb 2018 at 13.30 hrs. I only had a few minutes wait, I was greeted by a very pleasant nurse who took me into the scanning room. The young doctor introduced himself and answered all my questions. The procedure was explained to me and I was allowed to see the scan which helped me to understand what was happening. The procedure was basically painless ( I had a fine needle biopsy) and was over with within less than a minute. There was also another member of staff in the room who dealt with the specimen of fluid. All three staff made me feel at ease and did a wonderful job. Well done.
