About: The Eastman Dental Hospital

As a former oral cancer patient additionally living with lichen planus, I regularly check my mouth for suspicious lumps, bumps and patches.

I spotted an irregularity after midnight on Weds/Thurs and sent an email to my consultant requesting an urgent appointment.

At 9:03 a.m. on Thursday I received a response from the consultant booking an appointment and by 12:15 on Friday I was leaving the Eastman Dental Hospital fully reassured after a comprehensive review of my condition by the consultant and his team.

It speaks legions about the dedication of the team at the Eastman and the dedication of the workers in the NHS in general that at a time where resources are being squeezed like never before, they are still not just willing but happy to go out of their way to help patients.
