"Urgent Care Centre"

About: Ealing Hospital / Accident and emergency

I had not slept for two days due to a pain in my leg.

After ringing 111 and the advice I was given I managed to see my local doctor on Monday the 29th Jan, I was told to take painkillers and that I would be sent for an emergency scan, On Thursday the 1st of Feb I visited the Ealing Hospital UCC as the pain in my leg was worse not better. I had not been contacted by either my doctor or the x-ray department. From the time I walked in to the time I left I could not complain about the treatment I received. I was given the best care that I could have wished for. I was told that I could have DVT and that I need bloods taken. To cut this very long story short, I was asked to attend again today for further test. All I can say that I was treated with respect, I was not having to wait for hours to be seen. The professional care I received was second to none. The NHS Ealing is a wonderful organisation that needs to be respected.

Thanks for this lovely feedback. I would love to take the credit but we do not manage the UCC at Ealing. I have passed your kind words on to that service.

Best wishes

Sue
