"Caring endoscopy team"

About: Medway Maritime Hospital / General Medicine

(as a service user),

Having lost my mother to bowel cancer and having similar symptons I was booked. For a colonoscopy. From seeing my GP to consultant was 8 days which is truely amazing service. I was examined with dignity and booked a colonoscopy two weeks later. I am an extremely nervous patient on the day Sara , Gloria and may other we patient kind and understanding of my nerves the team carrying out the procedure were kind and compassionate and I had a small growth removed with a larger one requiring a return visit. Again two weeks later and the same caring team looked after me so well. I think that the service I received is amazing and that it is too easy to complain and forget that these people work tireless to ensure we are all looked after and all too often not shown respect for the work they do. Well done and thank you .
