About: Charing Cross Hospital

What I liked

Unfortunately you list only two departments on your drop down menu, given the size of the hospital,it is really unacceptable.

I complained to PALS several weeks ago about the time it takes for a porter to come and transfer a wheelchair patient from any department to the transport lounge - generally about an hour. PALS promised to take it up.So when earlier today I finished at the Imaging Dept. I was disappointed to find that I had to wait an hour and a half.

Down at the transport lounge the disabled loo does not have a closed rubbish bin for Tampax and the like, only an open bucket for the used hand towels.

It is a shame the way they treat disabled outpatients.

What could be improved

It seems that there are not enough porters and/or wheelchairs for disabled outpatients. For a hospital of this size and of this reputation is inexcusable. The disabled WC needs updating and it would be nice to have drinking water in the waiting areas.

Last but not least,PALS could pull their weight more than they seem to have.
