"Exceptional treatment and care by consultant..."

I was taken to A&E by the paramedics after collapsing at home in extreme pain.

I was immediately scanned and an aortic abdominal aneurysm was found.

From that time I remember very little as I was rushed into surgery as the aneurysm had ruptured.

I understand from my wife that my chances were slim, but thanks to the consultant and his team I did survive and received excellent care from them until my discharge.

I would like to give thanks for their excellent work and having had a post op appointment today and been told all is well I feel totally grateful for their knowledge and skill.
