"My CPN has been a tower of strength"

About: Ayrshire & Arran Community Services / Community Mental Health Team

(as the patient),

For the past five years the Community Psychiatric Nurse from the Community Mental Health Team in North Ayrshire has been a tower of strength. He has steadfastly supported me in my recovery when I doubted my own survival.

With his help I have gone onwards and upwards and have found my voice.

I respond initially to most of the posts and ensure they are passed to the appropriate team whether they are compliments, observations or grumbles. It is important to make sure all issues are addressed and I try to encourage that to happen for all the posts as required.

Dear carinaff45,

I was asked to post this response on behalf of the Team Leader, Gillian.

"Thank you so much for taking the time to share these kind comments. I am pleased to hear that you are happy with the care and treatment that you have received and how it has supported your recovery. I wonder if I can ask you to contact me (off-line) with the name of the CPN in order that I can share the post with them direct".

Gillian
