"ncaring and impolite staff, a culture of..."

About: Salford Royal

What I liked

Nothing, there is a widespread culture of disability discrimination at this hospital where if you have any sort of disability from learning difficulties to pyschically disabled, then the vast majority of the staff are happy to ignore disability laws and ignore you and put falseties in your medical notes.

What could be improved

Adherence to the Disability Discrimination Act as is the law, we have a legal right to expect this. Also complete retraining or better still, dismisal of most of the staff especially the receptionists who like to slam the phone down on patients, and also the neurology staff as they do not have the neccessary knowledge currently to make diagnoses or only care about private patients. They also see fit to leave me suffering from what is clearly epilepsy for 12 years with no medication or treatment, despite a massive increase in the seizures and the ocurence of blackouts.

Anything else?

The hospital needs a massive overhaul to function to the level of service of other hospitals.
