Dear Bull

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns regarding beds and trolleys left in corridors in University Hospital Hairmyres.

As you will be aware the NHS has been experiencing increased pressures and attendances over the winter period. The number of beds and trolleys used in the Emergency Department has therefore increased significantly. However it is not acceptable that these empty trolleys are left in outpatient corridors. Please be assured these areas are reviewed on a daily basis.

Kind regards

Lise
