I was rushed to A&E in December vomiting blood. had to spend the night in a corridor in A&E through no fault of the hospital and was well cared for during that time. In the morning I was taken to the MAU where I was seen by Dr, Ahmed who quickly assessed me and later was taken for an OGD after having a CT scan.
The ODG was quite traumatic but the team did a fantastic job of helping and reassuring me during the procedure I cannot praise them enough.
Secondly I had to visit the Neurophysiology department to have an EEG monitor fitted for 4 days. Wires stuck to my head and ended up like something from doctor who !!
Again the team were wonderful I was seen on time and the procedure was explained all of this team are consummate professionals and my thanks go to them.
Its a shame that the media only cover the problems that are faced by the NHS instead of covering the amazing amount of good things that happen because they far outweigh the bad.
Everyone does a great job, be it cleaning, catering, admin, nursing, specialist care or any of the hundreds of positions that are held within your hospital.
Keep up the good work. Thank You.
