I found my grandad dead when I was 18 and got physically abused by my uncle when I was a teen. Each time I go to close my eyes at night I see his face standing over me (find it almost impossible to sleep). Staff knew this. My granadad was my dad my mum and my friend. (lost my mum and dad at an early age). They refused to treat me for ptsd till I self harmed in front of them. And I think they lied to the police in front of me. Also they didnt believe I was or had eupd (emotionally unstable personality disorder). I push and pushed to get the assessment for autism spectrum disorder. (turns out I'm autistic). I know of another who couldnt get help and committed suicide. I feel that something needs to change.
