About: Manchester Royal Eye Hospital

What I liked

i have been a patient many times at several Out Patient Departments and overall I was greeted quite well at every visit. The only complaint I have is that in some departments have television sets either in an akward position, too loud and for the use of young staff only as the music is continually playing pop music. This may be fine in the childrens departments but when the majority of patients are a little bit older this does not apply to them. The staff are young but surely they are not there to listen or look at a television. by all means have music but Pop music Noooo!

What could be improved

The only thing to improve is to remove Pop music and maybe change the channel to a Documentary/History type with subtitles and as for the music could it be Middle Of The Road.

I know people have difficult and problems with their eyes but this does not mean that the music has to be loud .We are all not deaf!
