"Problems with staff attitude"

About: Northern General Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as a service user),

I waited for 5 hours, before surgery, until a bed was found in huntsman 7, not eaten for 48 hours and put in a bed. Kept asking for a drink or biscuits, to be told too busy, two other ladies on the ward were confused and wanted help.

When my nerve block wore off, I go damp, and looking from had been bleeding 2 hours. I felt like I was treated like an animal. We had to keep putting confused people back in bed, and I thought the attitude of some staff was disgusting
