My mother is severely mentally ill and prone to violent outbursts and aggressive episodes on a daily basis on account of her paranoid schizophrenia diagnosis, when needed there is never anyone available from the crisis team to assist us and my mother is basically left in the care of my vulnerable 72 year old father who is wheelchair bound and is unable to control her or defend himself from her verbal and physical threats and attacks. I find this appalling that they leave my father to cope alone with my mother and never offer any solutions or a decent care plan.Noe of our family are able to meet her complicated care needs. Her CPN nurse has a terrible attitude and is most unsupportive and are a complete waste of time in my opinion. I would not trust them to look after my parents or meet their needs they seem absolutely incapable. Terrible service all round and if anything awful should happen as a result of my mothers neglect by Hallam Street mental health services i would like to know who would be held accountable and responsible!
"neglectful and very helpful"
