"The support received by my autistic son from SLT"

We were beginning to despair at my son’s Support from his Speech and Language Therapy in Nursery. I asked for my son to return to SLT in the Community and my husband and I are so grateful to receive support from Leigh. Her input helped us to support our son and working with him on 1-1 ensured he made significant progress. The activities Leigh tried with our son were fun, engaging and cleverly focused on developing all aspects of his communication.

He now attends a school with a language and communication centre, where the SLT are also excellent, so unfortunately no longer gets support from Leigh. However, he regularly asks to visit Leigh and both my husband and I believe she played a major role in our son’s progress.
