(as the patient),

I have spent a lot of money on private Physio appointments for an ankle and ligament problem which were neither diagnosed nor made significantly  better.

I then attended my GP and was referred for local Physio , an MRI and acupuncture . The result is that my pain is significantly reduced , my problem has been diagnosed and a treatment plan agreed. 

I would like to mention Natalie , the Physio at Rutherglen Health Centre who has made such a difference to my condition . She listens, advises, demonstrates the exercise regime in a professional and timely manner.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us to tell us about your ankle. It is always difficult when a body part is injured and recovery can sometimes take longer than anticipated. I was delighted to hear of the progress you have made with your ankle rehabilitation attending the physiotherapy service within NHS Lanarkshire. It is always a pleasure to hear about a patient recovering well from injury and I will pass your kind comments on to Natalie and the rest of the team within Rutherglen.

I was especially pleased to hear how Natalie's professional manner enhanced her clinical knowledge and your rehab plan.

Natalie has recently been successful in gaining promotion within our service and I am sure will continue to offer patient centred, safe and effective treatment to Lanarkshire residents.
