"Surrogacy journey and maternity care"

About: Victoria Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I am a surrogate for my lovely friends and due to have an elective c section in 4 weeks and we have had the best care and compassion from the whole team during this pregnancy and staff have been so accommodating for us and have took their time to explain the birth and what happens before, during and after. The consultant and nurses have been fantastic and we feel so welcome and reassured by the care we receive. We feel lucky to have such a lovely and caring team on the maternity unit at the Victoria Hospital in Fife. We look forward to seeing the team in just a few weeks time for the birth.

I deliver lots of parenthood classes. I work as part of an antenatal team to ensure women get clear, helpful information to allow them to make choices about the care they teceive.

What an amazing thing you are doing. Thank you so much for your kind words. All of the staff go out of their way to ensure that every womans birth journey is as special as it can be. I am so pleased that you have found all of the team so kind and helpful. You can't imagine how good it is for staff morale when someone takes the time to thank them.

I will ensure that the staff are given a copy of your story. Thank you.
