"Cancelled Appointment"

(as a carer),

Yet again my husband has had his surgery cancelled. This is very frustrating as he has arranged everything with his work and yet again I have had to use a days leave to come with him and it is wasted. I do not get the day back and he now has to rearrange everything with his job. We feel it is not very professional. We are now wondering if it is going to happen for a third time and how many times it can be cancelled on the day of surgery.

I am extremely sorry to hear you and your husband have had a negative experience whilst waiting for podiatric surgery and I am very disappointed to hear that you did not feel you have not received a professional service.

This is not our usual standard of care and we would like the opportunity to investigate why this has happened, if you would like to contact our podiatry services secretary on 01246 515635 she will try to help you resolve this concern and put you through to the appropriate member of staff.
