"Vital services"

About: Long term neurological conditions and allied services / Neurological enablement service (NES)

(as a service user),

I am a man in my sixties with severe cerebral palsy.

I live independently and employ my carers and have done so for nearly 30 years. Apart from physical difficulties my biggest problem is severe anxiety. To this end I use neuro out reach services, including physio, occupational therapy and psychologist support. These kind of outreach services are vital to people like me just trying to make the most of life and long may they continue.

Thank you for your comments in support of our service. We are very glad that the work of our Multi-Disciplinary Team is enabling people to manage their condition more effectively. I have passed your comments to the team, positive feedback is always welcome to remind us of the value of our work.
