Thank you for taking the time to add your comments.

We are pleased to hear that you are happy with the care and treatment you receive from us. I am sorry to hear that you have had difficulties getting through on the telephone in the mornings. We have worked really hard to improve access and now have 3 telephone lines staffed all day.

0830 - 1030 hours is the busiest time for us. We encourage patients to ring at other times for non-urgent issues to enable us to deal with more urgent issues first thing in the morning. We have plans to protect this time for appointments and urgent home visit requests only and hope to set this up very soon.

We would encourage you to register for Patient Access via our website. This will allow you to book and/or cancel appointments, request and/or cancel repeat prescriptions and update your details such as change of address or new telephone number etc. It is very simple to do and will avoid you having to call us at the surgery.

We will continue to monitor, review and make changes to our systems to improve patient access with input from our patient reference group members and patients.

Thank you again for your comments. It helps us to improve the services we provide to our patients.

Tracy Dell - Practice Manager.
