"Recent Good Experiences at Northwick Park Hospital"

About: Northwick Park Hospital / Accident and emergency Northwick Park Hospital / Dermatology Northwick Park Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

A & E:

Following a fall my wife fractured her right wrist and I conveyed her to A & E. Being a Saturday afternoon the department was packed with patients. However the efficiency of the Triage system, the nursing staff and the medics was such, she was discharged within about 2 hours. We believe this was remarkable turnaround, bearing in mind she had two X-Rays and a plaster cast on a complicated fracture.

Trauma & Orthopaedics Clinic:

On each of the three occasions my wife, having been seen by a Surgeon, had X-Rays and new cast fitted, was discharged with 30 minutes, which again was remarkable efficiency.

Dermatology Department:

The author himself attended the department for treatment by the Surgeon, on a number of facial solar keratosis lesions and having Crys Therapy treatment, was discharged within 30 minutes, most impressive.
