About: Heartlands Hospital / General surgery

Our son was recently admitted as an emergency with a septic Appendix. We have private medical insurance cover but decided to stay there. Our trust was wothwhile. His care including pre-op, surgicalcare, post-op care were all excellent. The Consultant, their team including Anaesthetist , theatre staff, and all Staff in Ward 12 including the nurses, HCA's , student nurses etc were all outstanding. Hats off to them. They work harder than anybody in any other profession but are taken for granted. I salute their dedication to their profession. Please appreciate and respect them.Well Done All !!!!!

Thank you for your lovely comments regarding the care and treatment that your son received under the care of the General Surgery team at Heartlands Hospital, as I appreciate it would have been a very worrying time.

I am so pleased to read that you felt the care that your son received was excellent.

I totally agree with you, all the staff working extremely hard and it is nice for them to receive the well-deserved recognition.

I will be delighted to ensure that your feedback is highlighted to all the senior management teams.
