Anything else?
There was a complete lack of explanation as to what was happening and why throughout the entire process. Whilst the nurses were pleasant and actually talked to me, the doctors never bothered to explain what they were doing or what the results were. I apprecicate that they were busy, but I was always made to feel incredibly aware of that, and felt rushed at each appointment.
For instance, the actual conversation after all the tests and procedures lasted less than five minutes and was just "yes you had cancer". I always made the effort to ask questions, but was left feeling like I was intruding somehow and the doctor/staff member had other things to be doing.
Added to that the number of occasions on which paperwork went missing or I was left off of lists I should have been put on, and I was left feeling litle confidence in the treatment I was receiving.
"Disjointed, unsupported and confusing."
